Being spiritual means truly becoming our authentic selves. The inability to take time for ourselves is the number one reason for an incongruence with the soul and the conscious mind. On a physical level, incongruity leads to a vibrational disharmony in the body, leading to chronic disease and ill-health. So many conditions often diagnosed as auto-immune or idiopathic, can be linked to an inability for the individual to tap into their deeper self. Learning to quiet one’s mind is an art upon itself, and the act of meditation is the cornerstone to this principle.
